You should receive a text and email confirmation. In the meantime, take a look at what others are saying about SKC!
Tami - Mom of Tripp
The Skc staff is AWESOME!
They are patient and take time with kids to help them achieve their goals and levels!
My son has grown so much in the almost 4 years that he has been going! It is like family! ...
They will speak to your child about the issue or problem that they may be having.
They care about the kids inside and outside (of the dojo).
Rajeeni - Mom of Terry
SKC is more than just karate and self defense!!
My 6 year old son has been attending SKC for 18months now.
My husband and I have watched him develop as a Little Dragon to advancing into Black Belt training.
Going from a shy timid student to leading the class in demonstrations has been amazing to watch!
He is learning other life skills like focus, time management and self discipline.
More importantly these skills have followed him into the classroom as well as at home.
Thank you SKC!
Jessica - mom of Rain
SKC has given Rain something to look forward to every week and I have seen the similes on her face when she conquers a move or set.
Its definitely helped her come out of her shell a bit.
Jenny - Mom of Ethan
We love SKC and all that you guys have and continue to pour into Ethan!
He really struggled badly with balance, self confidence, and coordination before starting as a Little Dragon 3 years ago.
He’s made the best of friends and looks up to all the instructors as role models.
We’ve watched him improve and grow so much, and most of all he’s gained so much confidence and a big personality. And he absolutely loves karate and BJJ!
This year has particularly been helpful as he’s encountered a bully at school that he would have had a much harder time standing up to if he didn’t have the extra confidence from SKC ☺️
Amanda - mom of Chandler
SKC has been such a blessing to us!
I’m a single mom and since we started in the spring of 2019 my son has been doing so much better with behavior, and when there has been issues I’m completely backed up by his instructors (that he has a tremendous amount of respect for) it’s been life-changing!!
Cinnamon - Mom of Camille
SKC has been wonderful for Camille.
I've seen her grow in confidence, leadership - and in her desire to help others learn when helping via Leadership League.
The support SKC has given her - and us as parents - is amazing.
I feel like they want to help students grow not only in karate - but in life.
Rosemary is just beginning her journey with SKC, and we are excited to see how she grows as well!
Diane - Mom of Ellie
SKC is DEFINITELY the place to be!!
Ellie has been part of the SKC family since she turned 9 years old- a journey from white belt to black belt and now as a junior instructor. I have seen her go from a little girl with energy and interest to a young woman with focus, passion, discipline, skills, confidence, and a deep desire not just to keep training, but to share her love of martial arts with others.
She pulled me in for six weeks of training that SKC offered us, and I loved every bit of it.
I love to participate in the parent workouts and workshops. I proved to her and to myself that I could do more than just cheer her on.
My stint of training has meant that I can be her workout partner at home, her target holder, her student on which she practices her teaching techniques, and yeah, sometimes her BJJ dummy! 😁
I have seen her personal experience at SKC shape all of us at our house.
In her, I would say that the greatest thing gained has been confidence- in her ability to learn, to train, to persist, and to achieve, to teach, and to overcome the shyness and awkwardness so many of us feel in meeting new people.
Her experience there means talking to fellow students, helping them train while they help her, teaching younger kids, and interacting with adults.
Priceless skills! The other major gain for her is gaining her SKC family.
She has enjoyed the friendships and teacher relationships so much, they are easily the closest relationships she has outside our home.
We love SKC!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Abraham - Dad of McKayla
SKC has been great for McKayla before she started her confidence level wasn't the best.
She was shy and lacked a lot of self-esteem. All the instructors have been very helpful in grooming her into the outspoken child she is today.
I remember about a year ago Mckayla wasn't sure she wanted to continue with karate after a class and we informed Mr. Waters (head instructor) about it and he must of remembered because the next class that she had he gave her a little special attention and let her lead the class and kept encouraging her the entire class!!
I will never forget what he did for my princess! When she got off the mat she was so proud for herself!
For this reason alone is why i KNOW that SKC is the place to be because they care for the students individually and not just as another membership to them.
Thank you for caring!!
Desiree - Mom of Deja and Brianna
My Brianna is amazing.
I’ve watched her bloom into a martial artist and young lady. She takes pride in being a great student and an apprentice instructor.
She inspired to take up the art. I love seeing her excel...it makes my job much more enjoyable when she meets her accomplishments.
My Deja is another amazing being. It took her some time to become a student but since she has, she loves it. She’s a quick learn at pretty much everything she does, so this isn’t a surprise that she’s excelling as well.
They love everyone on staff (thought they have their favs) but I’m thankful for a place that loves on my girls as if they were their own.
It truly takes a village and I couldn’t have picked such an awesome crew.
Abraham - Dad of McKayla
SKC instructors are positive, kind, and inspiring.
It’s been awesome to see Emily and Christopher become tougher, stronger, and focused, all while having fun and being encouraged by the best of the best teachers.
Thanks for all you do.
Every class is a great class and I admire the teachers for staying positive and energetic, and never giving up on all these young, promising children!
